Seamless integration – maximum measurement performance

Our sensor integration enables precise force and torque measurement directly in your geometry, often with virtually no modification. This gives your machine a precise feel for consistent process reliability. The sensor, electronics, and component are designed together from the outset – mechanically, electrically, and thermally coordinated. The result: clean signals, low noise, and stable measurement results even under dynamic loads. Ideal for development managers who want to optimize their designs and for plant managers who need robust solutions in the factory.

Perfectly coordinated geometry

We turn your component itself into a sensor. By specifically adjusting wall thicknesses, material zones, and geometries, we create defined measurement paths—exactly where forces actually act. Your component can thus “feel” what is putting strain on it. Each measurement level is determined mathematically so that linearity, stiffness, and decoupling interact optimally. The result: precise signals with minimal material usage, stable over millions of load cycles. This creates an intelligent structure that adds a real sensory organ to your machine.

Integrated electronics – analog or digital

On request, we can integrate the electronics directly into the available installation space of your component – seamlessly, protected, and with low noise. We combine analog inputs for maximum signal purity with digital interfaces such as CANopen or SPI for fast system communication. Whether you need pure voltage feedback (0–10 V) or bus-compatible data transmission, we deliver exactly the format that your control system understands. Mechanics and electronics form a single unit, eliminating cabling costs, signal losses, and external housings.

Co-engineering – Measurement technicians who understand your design

Every integration begins with a deep understanding of your application. In co-engineering, our development engineers work directly with your design team—from CAD analysis to validation on the actual component. We evaluate stress paths, material behavior, and thermal influences to determine the optimal measurement point in the component. Our application knowledge from hundreds of integration projects flows into your development – whether in medical technology, aerospace, robotics, or drive systems. The result is sensor structures that measure exactly what your machine actually experiences – and thus provide a decisive advantage in terms of quality, process reliability, and product understanding.

Prototypes from a quantity of 1

We accompany you from the initial idea to small-batch production—from the CAD model to the finished measuring cell in your component. Starting from a quantity of just one, we can produce functional prototypes that can be tested on your machine. We can produce up to 10,000 sensors in series on the same line with the same FMEA. Thanks to our own production lines, reproducible results are achieved in weeks, not months. Your integration remains flexible: we work with you to optimize the material, installation angle, and signal paths until your component measures exactly as you need it to. This turns every design into a validated measurement platform.

Validated processes – documented and auditable

Every integration follows a fully traceable development and testing process. From FMEA to process validation, we document every step – comprehensively and auditably. Your component thus receives the same quality certification as a certified sensor. All measuring cells are tested on DAkkS-calibrated test benches and recorded with a unique serial number. You receive complete documentation for internal audits, approval bodies, or OEM requirements – technically sound and organizationally unburdensome.

We develop your sensor measurement solution together

From the initial idea to series approval, we accompany your development – technically sound, validatable, and in personal exchange with your engineers. Each measurement solution is created in close collaboration between design, simulation, and real-world testing. Sensors, electronics, and housings form a single unit, optimized for your application. This results in reproducible quality from a quantity of 1, with a stable FMEA basis and certified manufacturing “Made in Germany.”

Robustness meets precision

When your component measures, it must function under the same conditions as the machine itself. Our integrated sensor structures are therefore mechanically resilient, thermally stable, and chemically resistant. IP69K seals, endurance tests over 10 million cycles, and thermal stress tests from –40 °C to +85 °C ensure long-term stability. The design remains compact—the measurement quality unchanged. The result is a robust unit consisting of structure and sensor technology, ready for real industrial environments.

Developer-to-developer support

You speak directly to those who understand your component—development engineers, not salespeople. Together, we analyze CAD data, materials, and stress paths to define the optimal integration concept. This results in solutions that work mechanically, are convincing in terms of measurement technology, and are ready for immediate use. On request, we can also support you with commissioning or bench testing. This turns consulting into genuine co-development – precise, collaborative, and on equal terms.

We understand your application. We understand your design.

In co-engineering, we integrate sensor technology directly into your component – where real forces are at work. Together with your development team, we define precise requirements for geometry, material, and signal path. The result is a measurement solution that behaves like a part of your machine: mechanically robust, thermally stable, and electronically perfectly tuned. Whether you want to measure minimal torques, axial loads, or complex 6D force distributions, we turn your component into a sensor and your design into a measurement system.
